I have the opportunity to share with you a conversation I had with two friends, Anneisha Gordon and Sasha-Kay Godfrey. We spoke about the USA work and travel program. Sasha did it for 6 years, Anneisha for 2 years, and I did it for 4 years. You will hear how to register for this program, how and where to select a job, what to expect when you get there, and some of the highs and lows. The USA Summer Work and Travel program is a student-only cultural exchange program. The American government has approved and supported the program, which allows students to work in the United States for four months over the summer break and then travel for the fifth month if they wish. The aim of the program is to gain great experience, improve english language, meet the culture, customs and lifestyle, as well as to make new friends. Take a listen.
