Join us to hear Anastasia Khawaja, an adjunct professor in the Department of English at the University of South Florida,as she shares how she implemented linguistic landscape in her teaching units in Israel. She discusses how to use linguistic landscape to start difficult conversations in a region of conflict and how we can explore language representation and language use to dig beyond what we might see on the surface to better understand different situations–how it's not usually just "two sides" and by extension, how to better understand ourselves.
