When Bad Things Happen (with Kelsie Barnhart) - Episode 6
Manage episode 287520890 series 2839582
It's no secret that this world can let us down. It’s easy to look around and see brokenness, pain, heartache. We ask the age old question: “Why do bad things happen?” And yet, the Lord is faithful to us. He never leaves us to walk alone.
Kelsie Barnhart is a friend whose story has encouraged me over and over because of her vulnerability and faithfulness. In today’s episode, Kelsie shares her own journey of battling breast cancer at 27-years-old. She talks about how God comforted her in the midst of feeling let down, the greater purposes suffering can bring, how to feel joy and mourning at the same time, and so much more. I know you’ll be blessed by her today.
This episode is rich with difficult questions and thoughts we’ve all had at one time or another. I can't wait to hear how God uses it in your walk with Him.
