Good morning, San Francisco weather watchers! I'm your meteorologist with the latest forecast that'll keep you in the know.
Let's kick things off with tonight's outlook: We're looking at a partly cloudy evening with temperatures dipping down to a cool 45 degrees Fahrenheit. Winds will be taking a little break, staying completely calm.
New Year's Day is bringing some sunshine to the Bay Area! Expect mostly sunny skies with temperatures climbing to a pleasant 58 degrees Fahrenheit. Light and variable winds will be keeping things comfortable.
Moving into Wednesday night, we'll see mostly cloudy conditions with temperatures hovering around 48 degrees Fahrenheit. Again, winds will remain calm.
Thursday brings more sunshine, with temperatures reaching a delightful 62 degrees Fahrenheit. We'll have a gentle northeast wind blowing at 3 to 6 miles per hour.
Now, here's where things get interesting. Thursday night, we've got a 30 percent chance of rain after 4 am. Temperatures will cool down to around 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
Friday is looking wet, folks! Rain is likely between 10 am and 4 pm, with a 70 percent chance of precipitation. We might see between a tenth and quarter of an inch of rainfall. Temperatures will peak near 60 degrees Fahrenheit.
The weekend looks more promising, with partly sunny to mostly sunny conditions and temperatures ranging from 58 to 59 degrees Fahrenheit.
Looking ahead to next week, we're expecting consistently sunny days with highs around 59 to 62 degrees Fahrenheit.
