As the region and the nation mark the Anniversary of the September 11th attacks, some survivors are still dealing with the health effects from exposure to the toxic pollutants in the weeks and months after 9/11.

WNYC's Sean Carlson talked with Lila Nordstrom. She was one of the many students attending Stuyvesant High School on September 11, 2001 and is the founder of StuyHealth, an advocacy group representing former students who were in lower Manhattan on that day. Nordstrom also wrote a memoir titled "Some Kids Left Behind."
