The Way of Love for Kids is a walk through a thoughtful set of practices designed to draw each of us closer to the heart of God. Over twelve episodes we will explore ways to connect with God and each other. Some of these practices may be familiar, while others may invite you toward a new way of wondering about God and this Way of Love.

Today KariAnn visits with mother/daughter duo Emily and Olivia. We talk about the friend that we have that is the most different from us, what it's like to forgive someone and what it's like to be forgiven. Go is what Jesus told his followers to do - Go and tell - Go and listen - Go and heal! We invite you to tighten your seatbelts (if you are in the car - parents drive the speed limit) and/or settle in for a few minutes of wondering and wandering with us on the Way of Love for Kids.

Questions from The Way of Love for Kids Episode #8: Who is your friend who is the most different from you? What place in this world needs Jesus most? Have you ever hurt someone and needed to ask for forgiveness? How did it feel to ask for forgiveness? Where do you feel that feeling? Has someone ever asked you to forgive them? When someone disagrees with you, how do you remind yourself to listen? What do we need in order to forgive our world? What does God/Love look like in our community?

Additional Questions for wondering: What do you think we need to forgive in our world to make it a better place?

Challenge/Question(s)/Practice: 1. Take a walk around your neighborhood and look for things you can pray more love, kindness and peace into. 2. As you Go out into your community, look around you for folks who are different and learn more about their cultures and beliefs. 3. Go and tell someone you favorite thing about Jesus.

We really hope you are enjoying the Way of Love podcast! Me and my mini-BFF’s have had a blast putting these episodes together (and if we are being honest we’ve enjoyed listening to ourselves too!) Now it’s YOUR TURN to share. We want to hear how you are practicing the Way of Love. We’d love to know which practice is your favorite? Turn, Learn, Pray, Worship, Bless, Go or Rest? Share a special memory you’ve created on the Way of Love. Tell us which practice is hard. Say your favorite table grace together for us as a family. Sing us your favorite song. We are going to put all of the messages together into one HUGE EPISODE - so we can ALL HEAR HOW WE are growing and learning on the Way of Love. Just give us a call at 832.377.1973 . Leave us a message - be sure to start by telling us your FIRST NAMES ONLY - along with your city and state and then share your story with us. That’s 832.377.1973 We can all grow together if we share our journey on the Way of Love.

*At You Brew You we are reevaluating what our needs are as a community with regards to our way forward. Please let us know what would be helpful/hopeful to you during this time. We are so glad we listened to God's nudging about sharing our platform with Cathedral Kids TX. What a joy they have been to our community. KariAnn learned A LOT from this experience. We will return with a brand new format April 14, 2020 (Lord willing!)
