This episode explores how to use mindful reflection as a means to learning how to work with uncomfortable thoughts and emotions. We often don't take the time to reflect on what is painful in our lives because we spend so much energy pushing away pain and seeking pleasure. Avoiding our painful emotions may be necessary for a time, however to resolve these feelings, we need to express them. If you have been through trauma or are having difficulty expressing your feelings, you may need to see a professional counselor to help you with this process. Following the talk there will be a guided reflection and meditation.
