Dr. Mary Clifton proudly joins a new breed of physicians entering the cannabis space. These are doctors who are not content with writing a simple annual certificate. While many patients are often thrilled to not only live in a legal state but to get a doctor who will write the state required “cert”; Dr. Mary Clifton likes to talk to her patients about their new experience with an ancient plant.
In this unscripted and informative interview, John and Dr. Clifton discuss cannabis, the good, the challenges and the future. They discuss her entry to medicine, her current career goals and discuss what excites her in this new frontier. Mary and John talk stigma, access, and suffering. They also discuss cannabis as treatment for disease conditions. As usual, John brings out the best in his guests and Dr. Clifton does not disappoint. She discusses dosing, strain selection, hybrids, topicals, edible and vaping and/or smoking. She is disease knowledgeable and does not hold back on cannabis as treatment.
