He discusses his recovery process, phantom limb pain, and what changes he hopes to see in treatment options for others. Dr. Peters is then joined by Tamar Makin, professor of cognitive neuroscience at MRC cognition and brain unit at Cambridge University. She shares her research, including an article she wrote entitled “Phantom limb pain: thinking outside the (mirror) box” and how we can all ensure that phantom limb sensation treatment is truly based on facts.
