The level of education people have with managing their money should be looked at as shocking as having someone leaving school never learning to read. The necessity of understanding money management should be as on par with math and English because without it we find ourselves in avoidable situations that we just didn't see coming.
Expecting families to teach this to their children themselves is a naive outlook because the parents may never have been taught this themselves.
Through real world examples we can teach the children the mistakes they are yet to make and give them a chance.
