Some people make their anxiety or other mental health diagnoses their whole identity, which can be unhealthy. Stress and anxiety can be influenced by lifestyle factors, and it is important to address these factors before turning to medication. Taking personal responsibility and accountability for one's mental health is crucial for growth and development. The main takeaway is that talking about it is important, but action is also necessary for change. We discuss the idea that just talking about it is not enough and that taking steps to address the issue is crucial. We talk about being cautious not to against over-intellectualise and overthink stress and anxiety. One of the tips shared is to look up and gain perspective to help alleviate stress and anxiety.
