Flashback Series: Ep. 36- Creating the Global Movement of 1000 Hours Outside with Ginny Yurich
Manage episode 431459748 series 3564739
If you’ve been around for a minute, you may know how much I am in love with the 1000 Hours Outside movement and have been inspired and in awe of the founder, Ginny Yurich. I reached out to Ginny about this time last summer and was hopeful I’d get to interview someone on my “wish list”, and someone who has made a huge impact in my life, without even knowing her. I acted like a giddy school girl when she said yes, and I was incredibly thankful for Ginny giving me her time and sharing her story. If you haven’t listened to her episode yet, now is your chance!
Enjoy the show!
Recap from the original show notes:
In Episode 36 of The More Than Your Age Podcast, I get an opportunity to chat with the founder of 1000 hours outside, Ginny Yurich. Ginny has been someone I’ve admired and looked up to from afar. If you haven’t heard of 1000 hours outside, listen to this episode, take a look at her page and website and check out her podcast as well. I can guarantee you that you will learn so much. Ginny and I discuss what her life was like before the creation of 1000 hours outside, how it came to be, and how her age may or may not have affected the way she pursued this passion of hers that has now transformed the lives of thousands.
Enjoy!
