Dee is an Organic Chemist who lost 100 pounds, nearly half her body weight, and has kept it off for 20 years by staying away from processed foods. Our goal at PR Star is to be an open and welcome community - we know that CrossFit can be intimidating! Any athlete, no matter what their fitness level, should enter a WOD (Workout of the Day) with an open mind and a sense of assurance that the coaches will make the correct modifications to fit that particular athlete’s fitness level. We teach technique and consistency, followed by intensity. We believe that getting stronger is important and building a foundation using proper technique is a critical part of that, minimizing the risk of injury and maximizing an athlete’s abilities. We encourage friendly competition, but our top priority is that our members competitively work to improve their own fitness level. We love to see our athletes get excited when they set that new PR. We hope that you join us and become a PR Star. There is nothing sweeter than setting a Personal Record!
