Why does India lag in R&D? We have discussed this topic earlier with Varun Aggarwal, Co-founder, Fast, India and Change Engine. It has been a while since that discussion, so we thought that it would be good to have an update on this topic. The focus in the last discussion was on the research funded by the governments and universities, while in this episode the focus is on the R&D ecosystems within the corporate sector.
