"Foar From Home" Rows the Atlantic for Vets

The annual Atlantic Challenge race from La Gomera to Antigua brings together 30+ teams from all genders, many walks of life, and different abilities, "united by the same objective: to take on the unique challenge of crossing an ocean in a rowing boat." Many athletes involved are raising funds for charity.

Groundbreaking 2011 Atlantic rower Suzanne Pinto joins the @foar_from_home livestream toward the end of the hour for a celebration of International Women's Day. At the time, she was the oldest female to row across the Atlantic. And she's done some mighty interesting things since then! "I'd do it again in a heartbeat," she told us.
