Dr. Maya Shankar was on a path to becoming a concert violinist, attending Julliard, and training under Itzhak Perlman, when an accident ended that life forever. Faced with a loss of her entire sense of self she struggled to find a new life, which leads her to become one of the most pre-eminent cognitive scientists on Earth who founded and served as Chair of the White House Behavioral Science Team, who served as the first Behavioral Science Advisor to the United Nations under Ban Ki-moon, and whose clients include Hillary Clinton and Tiffany Haddish. She is now a Senior Director of Behavioral Economics at Google and host of an incredible podcast called “A Slight Change Of Plans”. For more information: https://mayashankar.com/podcast
