In this episode, Kate and Rod went over some of the most common excuses, beliefs and misconceptions we hear that hold our clients back:

  • I don’t eat enough
  • My macros are all wrong
  • I just need to cut carbs
  • My metabolism slowed down
  • My hormones are out of whack
  • I have too much stress
  • Cortisol is making my belly fat
  • I don’t have time to exercise
  • I hate dieting

We talked about how a little snack (like a few handfuls of nuts) can sabotage your progress.

We explained calorie surplus vs maintenance vs deficit, and what you need to do to lose body fat once and for all.

The examples in this episode are based on stories from real clients we work with every day!

As a reminder, if you want to get healthier, your first step is to achieve and maintain a healthy body weight. Worrying about ingredients, macros, healthy fats, organic, gmo’s, etc can be a progress-ruining distraction. Keep it as simple as possible to make progress faster.

We also talked about why seeing a specialist to regulate your hormones isn’t going to fix your body fat/ weight issue.

The bottom line... No matter what issue you believe is holding you back from getting healthier, slimmer, fitter, more toned, stronger... there’s hope! It’s so much simpler than you think to transform. Just get out of your own way!
