I met Dr. Lauren Crigler at a podcasting conference for female podcasts called She Podcasts about a year
and a half ago. She introduced herself and let me know that she is a pelvic floor physical therapist and
sex therapist. I awkwardly took her card and thought I would not be having a conversation about sex on
my podcast, and now here I am talking about sex on my podcast. I figured I needed to push past the
discomfort about recording a conversation about sex therapy and Dr. Crigler made it easier for me!
Sexual health is something we talk about a lot in terms of educating teenagers about healthy practices,
but we have fewer conversations about sexual health as adults. Check out my conversation with Dr.
Crigler as we talk about some of the common situations she sees with clients and what she suggests for
a healthy sex life.
