Lending 9-1-1: Rescuing Deals
Early in her career, Carey Ann’s work ethic and diligence got the attention of a realtor who asked her for help. To this day, she has a reputation for saving deals that are falling apart.
She is also known for closing deals quickly – in as little as 8 days in states that allow it!
Whether you are a realtor or a lender, Carey Ann encourages everyone to study their craft.
3 Types of Lenders
Brokers work with different lending firms to get loans. They don’t always have much control over how long approval takes or whether the loan will be approved.
Correspondent lenders work with other lending institutions. They have some control over the process using overlays.
Direct lenders (like CMG Financial) offer loans directly to home buyers. Because they don’t work with intermediaries, they have the most control over the process.
Hosting Local Events
Carey Ann hosts local educational events through numerous organizations. She has some that are directed toward realtors (if you’re in the Nashville area - or be on the lookout for virtual events)!
These events are a great way for her to give back and provide value to realtors. She also gets the benefit of connecting with them face-to-face and networking with them.
Thinking Outside the Box
Carey Ann sets herself apart by providing value and sharing new, relevant information through social media.
She and the team at CMG have created a “lock it and list it” program for sellers to pay a fee to lock in a rate sheet.
