Hello I am Shivani Arivuchelvan, the creator of Little bee talks on Self Esteem, welcome to my podcast series. I am passionate about promoting balanced mental well being majorly self esteem, and want to make a difference about how people think about themselves, and appreciate their self worth, that's why I happily created this podcast series to inform and support people about how to empower their self esteem. Self-esteem reflects an individual's overall subjective emotional evaluation of their own worth. It is the decision made by an individual as an attitude towards the self. Self-esteem encompasses beliefs about oneself, as well as emotional states, such as triumph, despair, pride, and shame. Over 30 years ago Carol Dweck and her colleagues caught interest in students attitudes about failure at school and their child life , they noticed that some students rebounded while other students seems devastated when they met the smallest setbacks.
