You go to your mailbox and, in with other pieces of mail, you find a flyer letting you know that someone on the sex offender registry has moved into your neighborhood. What do you do?
With about 25% of women living as survivors of sexual assault, it's likely that one response would be to get upset and to write these ex-offenders off as untouchables. But, is it possible that God's call to us as Christians means that we respond in a way that's maybe...different.
Join your hosts Phil Merten of Institutional Ministries and Ruth Jefferson of Voice of the Middle Ground as they discuss this sensitive topic and how we can navigate these waters carefully, keeping in mind all of those in our churches we're looking to serve and with love so that offenders can encounter the love, grace, and forgiveness that's found in Christ.
