Hey there surfers and beachgoers! Let's catch the wave on the latest surf forecast for the SoCal coast. Hang ten as we dive into what the waves have in store for you.
Starting off in Malibu Coast and Los Angeles County Beaches, we've got a moderate rip current risk today. Surf heights ranging from 2 to 4 feet with no thunderstorms on the horizon. Water temperatures between 56 to 61 degrees, and keep an eye out for that east swell. Tomorrow, expect more of the same with a mix of south and northwest swell hitting the shores.
Ventura County Beaches are seeing a high rip current risk today. Surf heights at 2 to 4 feet, water temps from 55 to 59 degrees, and an east swell is rolling in. Tomorrow, the rip current risk amps up to high with 3 to 5 feet surf heights and a west swell making waves.
Moving to Santa Barbara County, the Southwestern and Southeastern coasts have a low rip current risk today. Surf heights at 1 to 3 feet with a gentle southeast swell. Tomorrow, still at low risk with 1 to 3 feet surf heights and a west swell to keep you cruising.
Further up north at San Luis Obispo County Beaches and Santa Barbara Central Coast Beaches, today's surf heights peak at 4 to 7 feet. Expect a mix of west and south swells, water temps from 52 to 57 degrees. Tomorrow, a bump up to 5 to 8 feet surf heights with that west swell sticking around.
