Midlife Best 109 - Book Study - Man's Search for Meaning, Part 1
Manage episode 310449600 series 3056149
We are studying the book, "Man's Search for Meaning," by Dr. Viktor Frankl.
If you're new to the book study, welcome! You can jump in at any time, whether or not you've read the book yet! You don't even have to watch (or listen) to these episodes in order.
Dr. Frankl's book should be required reading in high schools and colleges. Even though it was written in 1946 (and translated into English in 1959), it's amazingly relevant for today's world. This book contains timeless wisdom.
This week, we are looking at the theme of Humanity. If you've endured life's bumps and bruises (and we all have), or even if you've experienced major challenges or loss, you'll find a sense of connection to Dr. Frankl's stories of the simultaneous strength and weakness of other human beings.
