In this episode, we are looking at the world through the eyes of Mishka Sibert. Mishka Sibert is the co-founder of Happy Autism, an advocate for Autism and Autism siblings, an international speaker, and a Certified Life Coach registered in the American Union of NLP. Mishka created Happy Autism with her Autistic non-verbal brother Samko, who is nine years younger than her. Their work is praised by the likes of Hollywood actors Ben Affleck & Anna Kendrick and featured in American Forbes. She has spoken at Autism events for global companies like ADP and Adobe. She wrote and published an internationally praised book "The Mother’s Guide to Sibling Relationships: Navigating the Sibling Relationship on the Journey with Autism", and created the first online course with her brother Samko about navigating the sibling relationship on a journey with Autism.
Mishka is the elder sister of Samko Sibert, an artist with Autism, who expresses and verbalizes himself through his art. In the episode, Mishka talks about how she has turned their sibling relationship into building a brand with her brother. How she has been an advocate for Autism through her community and has been helping families worldwide. Mishka shares with us the role she has held for the past 20 years as a sibling of an Autistic and how this has ignited her maternal instinct to always look after her brother.
