As pelvic floor therapists, one of the things we really love to talk about is..pooping!

Even though it might sound a bit silly, the topic of constipation and struggling with regular bowel movements is something that comes up often with our patients. Constipation affects millions of people in our society, and many people tend to think it’s just something they will deal with forever. This is something that can actually be a type of pelvic floor dysfunction, and it’s something that NEEDS to be addressed more.

In today’s episode, we’re diving into all things bowel health and constipation, simple nutrition tips to help you increase regular bowel movements, the best positioning that will help your pelvic floor when you’re trying to poop, magnesium and electrolytes usage, and more. If you’ve ever dealt with constipation and struggling to poop consistently, you’re definitely not alone..but there is hope for you, and we want to help you get to the root cause.
