It’s coaches Juli and James here and today we’re tackling a topic that doesn’t always get the spotlight it deserves but is absolutely critical as we move through menopause: bone health.
Here are a couple of sobering stats to set us off. First of all women lose up to 20% of their bone density in the five to seven years after menopause and, according to the Royal Osteoporosis Society, half of women over 50 in the UK will break a bone due to osteoporosis.
But don’t panic—there’s plenty you can do to protect your bones and stay strong for the long run and that’s what we’re going to dive into in this episode.
