196. From Movie Producer to Speaking With 300+ Companies: Stoyan Yankov on The Unsexy Truth About Success
Manage episode 378332306 series 2793287
What is the real truth about success? There are multiple identities and pathways to “success.” But one thing is for certain, it doesn’t look like the highlight reels you see on social media.
Coming from a small town, my guest, Stoyan Yankov learned from an early age that hard work, consistency, and education were vital stepping stones for success.
Raised in a post-communistic environment in Sliven, Bulgaria, Stoyan’s upbringing shaped a mindset that thrives on perseverance, community, and ambition.
And it’s with that in mind, in this conversation, we’re exploring the unsexy truth about success. This includes the inherent responsibilities and the sacrifices one often needs to make.
Stoyan’s journey is interesting as he initially wanted to become a Wall Street banker—“Greed is Good” ;)
However, he soon immersed himself in cinema and became a movie and video producer. After some more twists and turns, he became a productivity and performance coach, the host of a top podcast, an author, and a global keynote speaker. At this point, Stoyan has helped 300+ companies and he’s just getting started.
This episode was both enjoyable and informative and I know you’re going to get a lot of insights out of it.
