Holly, a critical care nurse turned postpartum advocate, shares her challenging journey through motherhood. After a year exploring options, Holly discovered "Matrescence" and underwent a transformative six-month certification. Balancing work and motherhood, she pursued a breastfeeding specialist certificate. Arin, empathizing with postpartum anxiety, emphasizes the need for preparation and support.
The conversation stresses the importance of societal understanding and support for new mothers. Holly advocates for comprehensive support systems, including physical assistance, therapy, and virtual groups. Arin encourages sharing the episode to spark open conversations. She’s passionate about holistic wellness in the immediate postpartum phase, the magic of breastfeeding, and guiding mothers while they find their own way in motherhood. She’s a mom of two, a nature lover, a fantasy book fanatic, and hopes to create a big change for the mother-baby dyad in this life.
