Retired Command Sergeant Major Byron E. Ferguson is a native of Central Florida. He entered the United States Army at the early age of 17 and served 29 years on active duty with a specialty in Air, Missile and Ballistics Defense. During his service in the Armed Forces, he rose through the ranks and held every single leadership position for an enlisted soldier.

Through the grace and covering of God, he completed five combat tours in the Middle East with assignments between 13 different countries. His awards consist of the Legion of Merit Medal, two Bronze Star Medals, four Meritorious Medals, five Army Commendation Medals, the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, and many other medals, ribbons, and acknowledgements.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management, with MBA studies in progress. He currently serves as a lead consultant and Assistant Program Manager with War Fighting Systems Solutions, Inc. (WFSS).

Above every leadership accomplishment, Mr. Ferguson humbly values the opportunity to be a leader willing to serve. He uses his experiences to share the gospel and to be a God-fearing example and mentor to the youth, the indigent, and to his former and current soldiers.
