Welcome to Living Table! 🌊
I'm so glad you are here! 🫶
Is sickness a stressor for you, friend?
Something that enters your life and causes feelings of stress?
It definitely is for me.
As someone who lives with Bipolar disorder and cycling moods, it doesn’t take much to throw my mind and body off course.
So myself getting sick or a loved one can be very difficult on my mental and emotional wellness. In the past, I’ve had times where sickness could wipe me out for weeks.
When our bodies are sick, the feelings can be similar to depression. Low mood, don’t feel like being around people, aren’t able to do the things we usually enjoy, etc.
For me, this can easily lead to thoughts of despair. Anyone relate?
As I have identified this stressor in my life, I have been able to develop an action plan for when sickness happens that supports my mental & emotional wellness. My hope is that my short, sweet, and practical episode today will give you a shot of hope when you or a loved one is sick.
Listen in.
Your presence matters here. <3
