Borrowing Other People's Thoughts

They all have one thing in common - wanting to borrow other people's thoughts.
We all do it sometimes. When we're feeling insecure, unsafe, confused or upset we get stuck on a thought loop that continues to create those crappy feelings. When we're stuck on the thought loop we forget there are OTHER thoughts we could think instead.
When we rely on other people to get us out of the thought loop, we throw out bait (like vaguebooking or a thirst trap photo) hoping to catch other people's thoughts so we can borrow them for awhile.
Thoughts like:
- You're so hot!
- Don't listen to other people!
- You got this!
- Everything will be okay!
- You're strong!
- He doesn't deserve you!
It's totally normal and we ALL do it but you don't have to rely on other people to get you out of the thought loop. That middle step isn't necessary if you continue to ask yourself, "What thoughts am I forgetting to think right now?"
It's the quickest way out of a thought loop and it works every time.
