You Matter
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV
Today is all about encouragement!
Listen, this world will leave you feeling empty and valueless, like nothing you do truly matters.
Can I tell you some great news?! You matter!
You are so valuable in God’s eyes!
The Bible says that God SO loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son, for you!
You matter!
We aren’t pawns in the playground of an uncaring, un-empathetic, God...we are valuable! So valuable in fact, that Jesus shed His precious blood to buy us back!!!
Again, Listen! You Matter!
I heard a pastor say one time, that many people unfortunately are raised to think they haven’t had church unless they leave feeling bad about themselves!
God isn’t about shaming you and me, He is about covering you and I with His grace, mercy, and love!
Granted there will be times when it feels like our toes are being stepped on, like we are having a light shone on our insecurities and faults, but remember, Whatever God reveals, He heals!
You matter!
Why do we need to know this simple, but powerful truth? Because when we realize how much we are loved, it causes us to want to love others, to want to do that which is right!
The Bible says we love because He first loved us!
Today I just want you to know that you matter!
God cares about the big and the small in our lives!
The more we realize that, the more we will make a lasting impact in the Kingdom!
The more we realize that our values, our lives, are hidden in Christ, the less we will allow what others say about us, to define us!
Be encouraged today! Walk with Jesus! Take His hand and allow Him to show you that you matter!
