Intrusive thoughts can be intense and uncomfortable. But, they don't have to derail your life or make you feel guilty or ashamed for having them. In a human life they occur and one does not have to punish oneself because you had one or several. It is our way of human thinking that is apt to use expedients to quickly address and categorize all thoughts and our basic self sees and identifies with or against such thoughts encouraging the dissonance and harsh self judgment due to our lack of realization that these thoughts serve a purpose of pointing out the problem to avoid versus interpreting the thought as a plan of action. Study on this, and walk well.
