In this episode of The Naren Agarwal Show, I had an insightful conversation with CA Shashank Sekhar Jalan. He has been practicing over 10 years in his profession and he completed his Chartered Accountant degree from India in just 3 years, which is the fastest track to complete it. He is also an MBA and went on to work for Goldman Sachs in Bangalore and New York after which he joined his own family firm and took financial planning for others forward. He is also a Certified Financial Planner and a Certified Estate Planner.
Here he shares his experience on clearing Indian Chartered Accountancy in one shot as it is one of the most difficult exams in this country. His work experience and journey has been very interesting so far post CA which he shares with us as well. Due to his excellent performance during his job at Goldman Sachs, he was transferred to New York and he talks about his experience while working there and traveling to different places.
He talks about investments in details where he shares his opinions on where people should invest the most. We discuss about the type of risks that occurs during investment and how risks profiling is done based on people and market. He also tells us about Certified Financial Planning course which he got done from FPSB which will help those of you interested or planning to get into this course.
Here we discuss about Crypto currencies and he shares his opinion on how things might or might not work out with Crypto. He also talks about investing in new-age companies and why.
