When we struggle with low self-esteem we struggle with self-responsibility which leads us to wrongly believe that our happiness, success and life is in the hands of others. We wait for people to change their behaviour before we feel we can be happy. We assume that someone will come along to support us with achieving our goals and desires, without realising that the only person responsible for all of this is ourselves.
