Dr. Maryal Concepcion is a dedicated national speaker and the host of the My DPC Story podcast, committed to enhancing healthcare delivery for both patients and physicians. With over a decade of experience in the traditional model of insurance-based healthcare, she made a bold move to establish her own Direct Primary Care clinic, Big Trees MD, in rural Northern California.
Fueled by the belief that every physician should understand the intricacies of insurance-based medicine and that independent practice remains viable, Dr. Concepcion launched the My DPC Story podcast. The podcast, ranking in the Top 0.15% globally and consistently in the Top 250 of the Apple Medicine Podcast charts, serves as a platform for her to share insights as a rural DPC owner and inspire others to explore solutions for improving healthcare in America. As the host, she has interviewed nearly 200 DPC doctors.
