For this 15 Minute Friday I've got Adam Lehman back on the show, and this time we're talking the art of boundary setting as a creative individual. In both life, and work!
We've all had to have those awkward conversations when navigating the entrepreneur/freelance world when it comes to someone overstepping boundaries. A lot of it can be avoided (or at least helped) if we learn to set them for ourselves in the first place!
We cover a few things including; Experience in family businesses, teaming up with fellow creatives, and starting businesses with friends. How boundaries can also serve as guidelines for aligning interests and strengthening relationships. The "CPR" framework (Circumstance, Pattern, Relationship) to address issues and have difficult conversations, and simply making sure we take the time to get to ourselves in general, to truly express our wants and needs.
