Deena is a mother, wife, and aspiring writer as well as survivor of narcissistic abuse. In the almost 10 years that have passed since leaving high control religion, she has cultivated new relationships, pursued her passions, and learned to care for her mental and emotional health. Two years ago, the pieces finally started coming together regarding her religious trauma and how to heal from its effects.
